I am often asked to sum up my strategy that has helped thousands of people around the world lose weight.
It is a good question because afterall I have always been an opponent of rigid diets, which are in my view suffocating. The danger with rigid diets is that they can encourage you to think of food even more, when you actually want to lose the preoccupation with eating. For me a blend of motivational coaching (the straight talking way) plus hypnotherapy and hypnosis for weight loss is much more appropriate.
Reconditioning is the key
Reconditioning the mind and behaviour is a dream for all those looking to lose weight.
They want to develop the habit of eating smaller portions, eating healthy, and of course where possible to move more. The pre requisite is finding the motivation to change because without it you are doomed, and in reality will probably lose little weight. Quite often I find myself triggering a client’s motivation as well as ensuring they ditch every excuse in the cookbook. That is why I would always encourage a client to initially develop a motivation strategy. This involves implementing a number of practical actions that will help ensure motivation levels run high. I normally do this at the first session.
Hypnotherapy for weight loss
As well as using a straight talking coaching style I always blend hypnotherapy for weight loss into my treatment plan.
The key reason for this is that it helps you program your mind at the unconscious level so that the whole mind is focused upon controlling the weight by eating smaller portions, and maintaining the motivation to lose weight and keep it off.
Hypnotherapy and hypnosis for weight loss is a relaxed process that will help you to create a focused concentration on your end goal. During the process of hypnosis for weight loss you will be encouraged to embed the habits you want to acquire, to help you lose weight and keep it off for good. In short hypnotherapy and hypnosis for weight loss reconditions your mind and helps you adopt new behaviours around food so you eat less and most of all take control of your eating habits.
Control is the key
Over many years supporting people to lose weight there has become one important factor and that is to bring back the control over food.
Clients frequently report feeling they have lost control and the habit of eating too much is for them hard to break. Fortunately this cycle can be broken using hypnosis for weight loss and using a coaching style that helps the client recondition their mind and behaviours. Once the cycle is broken clients report being more in control of food, even forgetting about food, so that they eat the right amount needed.
